How does the agency work?

- Clients contact us with their requirements. We put forward one or more options which we feel will be best for the client.

- There is no obligation to book the artistes we put forward, however if the client does wish to follow our recommendations we ask that they book through Spotlight

- If the client decides they wish to book one of our suggestions, we make a firm booking with the artiste, and send out a contract.

I had great comments on the musicians and they were a great bunch of guys, very helpful and a pleasure to work with. (City of London events organiser, December 2015)

Just fantastic. We will definitely use again. Lovely guys and a real crowd pleaser. (City Council events organiser, October 2015)

Of all the performers I have seen here over the past sixteen years, this was the most spellbinding and probably the best. It’s a touch of sheer class, something that demands huge skill...... The reaction of shoppers I think matched my own, which says it all. (Shopping centre manager, December 2015)

A triumph! A complete triumph: they were wonderful and so nice to work with. (leading caterer, statue artists at private party, January 2015)

The event would not have been such a success without the acts and we hope they enjoyed the evening. The crowds certainly enjoyed all the entertainers and the glow juggler was very popular. The evening was a great success and we have had very positive feedback. We look forwarding to welcoming back some entertainers next year. (December 2014)

I just wanted to write and say thank you so much for the great job you guys did! The train looked and sounded fab - it went down a real storm. (Shopping Centre, December 2014)

Very impressive, as I thought that it would be - even more so, in fact! (feedback on snowglobe, December 2014)

The crafts and candy floss got lots of praise, and the Reindeer were very well behaved. (PR Agency, Frozen themed event, December 2014)

We had a fantastic Christmas Market weekend and if you could pass on my thanks to [the performers] I would be very grateful, they were Brilliant. (December 2014)

Very clever magic tricks and just right for our Christmas lunch. Our new Headmaster was very pleased! Thank you both for all you did to ensure that it went well. (School Christmas lunch, Dec 2014)

Fabulous. His magic impressed everyone - please pass on a very big thank you to him - and to you for arranging this and making our Christmas party that little bit more special. (Corporate Christmas Party December 2014)

[your DJ] was prompt, professional, smartly turned out and very nice to work with.  My client was delighted with him and he had them all up dancing until the small wee hours, in fact she could hardly walk or talk the next day when I saw her !!! (party planner)

The Opera Singers were absolutely amazing!!! (Private Client)

The Artists you represent are faultless in their professional approach, eternally warm-natured and hard working, and showing endless goodwill to our clients... (Polo Ralph Lauren)

It was all an overwhelming success, We were both very confident that this would be the case as your company has been highly professional, helpful and efficient (Private Client)

What a brilliant band....Such a lovely group of lads, nothing was too much trouble......would highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to have a fab fun party. The dance floor was never empty! I'm not kidding!! (Private client)

Our Sales Director has called it the best party ever (Unilever)

The Music was excellent- The Best Man actually split his trousers twice while showing off his wedding dance moves! (Private Client)

I am writing to say I have received so many positive comments about the band. You were right they are all very lovely people.... (Farecla Products Ltd)

You have been the best....You have been so helpful and really recognised what we were looking for... (private client)

January 2015: Updated Street Theatre Roster

We are pleased to welcome over twenty new acts to our street theatre roster. Some of these acts are long-established players in the world of street theatre, and some are acts newly created this year. We hope that this will enable us to offer something different to our repeat clients, whilst giving all clients an even wider choice of superb acts.

In addition to traditional street theatre bookings, many of these acts will be useful to private and corporate function clients as unusual meet-and-greet or round-the-tables entertainment. For example we recently booked our comedy fortune teller and Victorian strongmen for a Vintage Fairground theme corporate function.

October 2012 - Web Site Facelift

We are pleased to be able to announce that our new-look web site is now live (although you probably realise this, as you're browsing it!). In addition to our band roster and background music roster which were updated earlier in 2012, the new site gives more prominence to our visual entertainers, children's entertainers, and entertainers ideal for reception and after dinner entertainment. However we still feel that the clients who get the most benefit from our 19 years' experience are those who telephone us to discuss their requirements. We still have five telephone lines in the office!

Comedy Split Cycle

August 2012 - Cycle Themed Entertainment

With the success of Britain's Bradley Wiggins in the Tour de France and The Olympics, and excitement over the forthcoming Tour of Britain cycle race, there's never been a better time to use cycling themed entertainment. We now have a web page devoted to this, aimed at anyone organising a cycle race, cycling festival or sustainable transport event, including, among other things, contenders for the world's smallest bike and world's largest tricycle, a number of comedy bikes, a panda riding a tricycle, and a host of other wacky ideas. abseiling Larner Road

April 2012: Our team building team organised an abseiling event on a 15 storey tower block on The Larner Road Estate in Erith, Kent. Over the course of the day- Friday the 13th April- chosen with no regard for superstitions- a group which included residents, staff, architects and journalists descended the 47 metre tower. Our team of abseiling facilitators are more familiar with working at venues such as Amberley Castle (see here) but are happy to work wherever the activity can be undertaken safely. Pictured below making her descent is Caroline Field, regeneration project manager for Orbit Homes. For more pictures of the Erith event, please click on the image.

March 2012: We now have our new background music roster available on the web site. This adds to the band roster, added last month, which has been very well received. Both of these rosters aim to give clients the ability to pre-select a number of musical groups before speaking with us or emailing. Of course, we are still delighted to give advice on the phone and by email- that's what we're here for!

January 2012:

2012 brings us a number of major events, including The Queen's Diamond Jubilee and The London 2012 Olympics. Many of our artists have been busy developing acts to fit these themes:

Jubilee Show

The Queen's Diamond Jubilee will be a major event for children and adults alike. We are pleased to offer a jubilee children's show, hosted by John Bull and featuring a children's TV celebrity.

Please contact us for more details.

ERII Collage in a shopping centre

Many of our craft workshop facilitators also have the jubilee in mind. One idea for an activity is a commemorative collage, which is made as a collaborative effort over a period of a few days:

Comedy Tea Ladies distributing cups of tea

For Jubilee street parties, our comedy tea ladies act is ideal:

Superhero theme: Also during 2012 there are several major films due for release which we think may merit themed events:

In April the new Avengers film is due to be launched. This features a number of superhero characters including Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Captain America. July sees the premiere of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises. Some of our leading character actors and stunt performers are available with characters which pay tribute to some of these superhero characters. Please call or email for more details.
