Animal Activities for Children

Animals are always extremely popular with children, and animal related activities are both fun and educational. Our animal activities can be complemented by animal themed craft workshops, facepainters and other entertainers to create a truly memorable day.

Mobile Farm

We provide pens, straw, a selection of young and adult animals and a knowledgeable farmer who will answer all your questions. The farm is suitable for all outdoor and most indoor venues. Small animal petting farms are also available for smaller events. At Easter we can include chicks and ducklings.

Mobile Zoo

This features exotic animals, reptiles and creepy crawlies. Children can handle and learn about a range of unusual animals such as snakes, tarantulas, hissing cockroaches and chinchillas.

Animal Rides

We can provide donkey rides, pony rides and carriage rides. For Christmas some of our donkeys can add a festive touch by adding false antlers.

Falconry and Duck Herding

These two activities are very interactive, and ideal for family fun days. Our falconers are available for flying displays and bird handling.

Other animal themed acts

Our realistic polar bear and gorilla puppets are accompanied by a themed handler who conveys an educational and environmental message in an entertaining manner. We also have dinosaur puppets, and acts themed around otter and fox, octopus, whale, seal, seagulls, meerkats and cats, and a piano playing dog! Call us for more details.

Christmas animals

Many of our animals are ideal for the festive season: Our Nativity themed mobile farm features the ox and ass, Mary and Joseph. Our reindeer are available to deliver Santa Claus to your event. Our Huskies are available for meet and greet and photo opportunities. It is advisable to book all the above early for Christmas.
