Polar Bear and Cubs

Known to the Sami as “the old man in the fur coat”, the Polar Bear represents the strength and endurance of the Arctic. As their sea ice habitat retreats earlier and reforms later each year, polar bears have begun exploring areas of human habitation. Our wonderful puppet creature, accompanied by a Sami gentleman, seeks a new home for herself and her cubs. They come with a plea for change: Cut carbon emissions, switch to cleaner fuels, and introduce sustainable practices. Meet the planet’s largest carnivore, pet her cubs and pose for a photo.
