Stormy Seas

An 1800s sailing vessel rides out a storm, seeking a safe harbour. The crew respond to the captain's orders, manning the rigging, whilst the surprisingly lifelike figurehead wails with fear from the bows. At last, land is spotted and the ship finds refuge. Once in harbour, the sails are dropped and the figurehead sings an aria so sweet that an albatross appears in the rigging, soaring high in an aerial dance. This mobile and static show is set to music, and features a wheeled steel framed theatrical ship, and an aerial trapeze routine. Click here for video.
