12 piece big band

This 12 piece "big band" dance band is put together along the lines of The Glenn Miller Orchestra, and plays the sounds of the 1940s. The band can appear in original American uniforms, or in black tie. They play most of the well known hits of the era, such as American Patrol, Moonlight Serenade, and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. The group has performed widely at corporate and private functions, notably in the presence of Prince Charles, and at a reunion of the American 398 Bomber Squadron. They have also backed many leading artistes in cabaret and stage shows, including Cilla Black, The Three Degrees, Des O Connor and Roger Whittaker.
